Welcome to Hallett Cove Karrara Kindergarten

At Hallett Cove Karrara Kindergarten, we embrace a holistic and inquiry-based approach to learning, recognising the whole child—their strengths, interests, and unique ways of understanding the world. Inspired by the 100 languages of learning, we foster creativity and self-expression through the arts, music, dance, and drama, encouraging children to communicate, explore, and make meaning in diverse ways.

We value respect, kindness, and connection, creating an inclusive and collaborative environment where everyone belongs. By working alongside families, we develop programs that support each child’s growth and strengthen our connection to the Aboriginal community. We believe that children thrive when they feel secure and valued, empowering them to take risks, engage deeply, and develop a lifelong love of learning. Through this, we nurture confident, compassionate individuals.

We are a proud RAP kindergarten, privileged to learn and grow together on Kaurna Land. We acknowledge the Kaurna people as the Traditional Custodians and recognise their Elders—past, present, and emerging. We are committed to fostering meaningful connections between children, Country, culture, and history, embedding Aboriginal perspectives in our learning community.
